Park features: This newly built park (opened in late Summer 2015, but as yet not quite fully finished) is divided into three blocks. Block 1 surrounds the new 7 subway station and will feature an open green lawn. Block 2 offers large fountains and plenty of seating. Block 3 features the playground and eventually a food kiosk.

Playground: Small but with elements to satisfy toddlers to tweens. In the center is a large climbing dome made of rope, with smooth facets on one side for an extra challenge. Within the rope are additional ladders and hammocks for resting. The soft ground surrounding the dome undulates towards the perimeter of the playground, which is dotted with seating areas and listening stations.

Playground safety notes: This is a nice, small playground with plenty of shady spots. There is only one gate.

Public restrooms: No, but there are public restrooms inside the subway station.

Food & drink: A kiosk will soon open just north of the playground. In the meantime there are standard-issue hot dog, donut, and pretzel carts outside the subway station.
