Appealing to kids: The vibrant and graphic art, the examples of modern industrial design, the outdoor sculpture garden. The museum also offers special programs for children aged 4-14, including Gallery Guides (print and audio), Gallery Talks, and the MoMA Art Lab, an interactive space where visitors may experiment and create with different materials, plus play with toys and read books. Admission: Adults $25, Seniors (65+ with ID) $18, Students (full-time with ID) $14, Children (16 & under) and Members Free, Guests of Members $5. Online ticket purchase available. Free admission for all visitors every Friday from 4PM-8PM, and always for select groups.
Stroller policy: You may bring your stroller around the galleries, or leave it in the complimentary checkroom in the lobby.
Changing table: Yes, in the mens’ and ladies’ room on each floor (note that backpacks and bags larger than 11″ x 14″ must be checked, so you may need to bring a small bag for supplies). There is also a private family restroom on the 5th floor that may be used for nursing.
Food & drink: Outside food and drink are not allowed. Café 2 on the 2nd floor is the best option for families, with its quality Italian food (including children’s menu), casual setting, and Stokke high chairs. Terrace 5 and The Modern are the other, more formal restaurants. During warmer months there is also a small café in the outdoor sculpture garden.
