Park features: Green space, a playground, waterfront foot and bike paths, a beach volleyball court, mini golf, a skatepark, the Lilac steamship and the Tug Pegasus (both open seasonally).

Playground: A substantial playground featuring a sandpit; large water play area with varying height sprinklers, hoses, and a waterfall; assorted age-specific play structures; climbing walls; and bucket, sling, and special needs swings. (NOTE: The playground was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy and remains closed. Reconstruction has begun and the playground is scheduled to re-open in May 2013.)

Playground safety notes: This is a big space with several blind spots, including a climbing wall that cuts through the middle of the playground. Shade is minimal. Also know there are three gates for entry and exit.

Public restrooms: Yes, just outside the playground, next door to the skatepark.

Food & drink: There is a concession stand at the mini golf ticket window.
